" Service Standards " |
Presenters:
Bernard Gingras will discuss the current federal government policy drivers for service standards, the role of service standards in results-based management, and provide an update on the Treasury Board's "Guide to Service Standards".
Tim Olaveson of the Canada Revenue Agency will share the history of service standards in the CRA, how it manages service standards, and the results of a recently completed global review of its service standards regime.
Bruce Langevin of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) will detail his departments decision to adopt a non traditional approach to the development of external service standards and the contribution this has made to AAFC's overall service transformation agenda.
Victor Abele will discuss how Service Canada has a mandate to deliver "Service Excellence" embedded in its Program Activity Architecture (PAA) and has recently updated its Performance Management Framework to continue to drive improvement. To achieve service improvement, Service Canada has a comprehensive approach for enterprise-wide quality management to improve client satisfaction with a strong focus on the "service experience". Victor will explain how the PAA and the Service Canada Charter guide management of service standards, quality improvement and what is being done to equip the organization to succeed.
